Senior Associate Global Study Planner

Job Description
The Senior Associate Global Study Planner independently manages demand and supply planning for clinical studies with a global scope. This includes ensuring adequate finished drug product supplies from study initiation through closure, coordinating operational inventory management, and minimizing waste. The role involves cross-functional collaboration, performance tracking, and adherence to supply chain processes and regulatory guidelines.

Non-Negotiable Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in logistics, business administration, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in supply planning.

  • Experience in supply planning within the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Fluency in English (verbal and written).

Essential Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Knowledge of clinical supply chain management.

  • Experience in forecasting drug demand and managing inventory for clinical studies.

  • Ability to coordinate packaging, labeling, and shipment of clinical supplies.

  • Experience using ERP systems, preferably SAP.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.

  • Understanding of regulatory guidelines impacting clinical supplies.

  • Ability to identify and escalate risks to study timelines or clinical supply availability.

  • Experience participating in cross-functional planning meetings and stakeholder communications.

  • Familiarity with dashboards and internal systems to track supply chain performance.

Desirable Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Advanced experience in MS Office applications beyond basic proficiency.

  • Experience negotiating resource conflicts in supply chain planning.

  • Experience updating or creating procedures per Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

  • Experience representing planning teams in operational improvement initiatives
