Senior Pharmacist

This role sits within a fast-growing digital pharmacy operation focused on delivering safe, compliant, and scalable medicines distribution across European markets. The Senior Pharmacist will play a key role in establishing a new pharmacy site and ensuring regulatory excellence from day one.

You will lead the end-to-end pharmacy setup, licensing, and inspection readiness process, and then act as the Responsible Pharmacist once operational. The position has significant influence over clinical governance, compliance, and operational standards in a high-volume, non-patient-facing environment.

 

Essential Requirements

• Education: Master’s degree in Pharmacy

• Experience: Minimum 5 years post-registration experience

• Core expertise: Pharmacy operations, regulatory compliance, clinical governance

• Hands-on skills: Licensing, SOP development, inspection readiness, prescription review

• Knowledge: Dutch Medicines Act, GDP, EU and cross-border pharmacy regulations
• Languages: Dutch and English (Fluent). 

 

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in online, mail-order, or distance-selling pharmacy

• Leadership experience in high-volume pharmacy environments

• Familiarity with pharmacy systems (e.g. Pharmacom, CGM Apotheek, ERP tools)

• Cross-border pharmacy operations experience (NL–DE)

• Training, mentoring, or people-development experience
