Description

Support role within the Maintenance & Engineering / Central Inventory Team, responsible for coordinating spare parts, materials, and inventory activities. The role ensures compliant material flow, accurate system administration, and operational readiness for maintenance, projects, and breakdowns, in line with cGMP and internal procedures.

Must Have Requirements

  • Experience in inventory coordination, material administration, or spare parts management

  • Experience working in a manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, facilities, or technical environment

  • Hands-on experience with a computerized inventory or asset management system (e.g. Maximo, CMMS, ERP)

  • Experience with ordering spare parts / materials, including vendor contact and order follow-up

  • Experience with receiving, inspecting, and registering materials

  • Fluent English, written and spoken

  • Technical background (maintenance, engineering support, facilities, or similar)


Desirable Requirements

  • Experience with IBM Maximo specifically (CMMS expertise) or SAP knowledge.

  • Experience with vendor repair or calibration logistics

  • Experience preparing work kits for maintenance or shutdown activities

  • Experience executing cycle counts and stock level reviews

  • Familiarity with SOP-driven environments

  • Experience in pharmaceutical or biotech production sites


Responsibilities

  • Order spare parts and materials by contacting vendors, requesting quotations, and tracking deliveries

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming spare parts and materials

  • Create new part numbers (Z-numbers) and register materials in Maximo

  • Manage returned spare parts, including inspection, system registration, and storage

  • Coordinate shipment of spare parts to vendors for repair or calibration, including documentation and packaging

  • Receive and process repaired or calibrated parts and update system records

  • Prepare work kits for urgent breakdowns, projects, and planned downtime periods

  • Execute cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records

  • Monitor inventory stock levels and initiate reorders to prevent shortages

  • Ensure all activities comply with cGMP, SOPs, and internal safety requirements
