An international healthcare organisation is seeking an experienced National Market Access Manager to lead market access activities across Germany. This is a strategic leadership opportunity for an individual with extensive knowledge of the German reimbursement landscape and a passion for improving patient access to innovative medical technologies.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing national market access strategies, engaging with key external stakeholders, supporting pricing and reimbursement initiatives, and collaborating closely with commercial, medical and leadership teams. You will also play a key role in shaping long-term access strategies, driving business growth, and ensuring sustainable reimbursement for innovative healthcare solutions.
Master's degree in Health Economics, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Public Health or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of Market Access experience within the German healthcare system.
Proven experience with reimbursement, pricing strategy and payer negotiations.
Strong understanding of German reimbursement pathways and the payer landscape.
Experience developing and implementing national market access strategies.
Leadership experience managing direct reports and/or cross-functional project teams.
Experience engaging with payers, healthcare providers and physician networks.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex healthcare and market data.
Fluent German and English.
Experience within Medical Devices, Diagnostics or Diabetes/Internal Medicine Care.
Experience with innovation contracting or alternative reimbursement models.
Experience generating or leveraging real-world evidence and health economic data.
Strong KOL and stakeholder management experience.
Active involvement with healthcare policy, industry associations or market-shaping initiatives.
Experience supporting commercial strategy, business planning and strategic investment decisions.
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
