HR Business Partner | Global Pharma | Visp | On-Site Role

 

Job Description

A global pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation is seeking an HR Business Partner to act as a collaborative partner to the business, providing HR subject matter expertise to managers and employees across designated areas.

In this role, you will be part of the on-site HR Business Partnering team in Visp, delivering hands-on support across the full employee lifecycle—from hire to retire. You will work closely with managers and the wider HR team to implement people strategies aligned with business goals, while also contributing to local HR projects across areas such as Recruitment, Performance Management, Talent Management, and Total Rewards.

You will play a key role in driving HR initiatives, supporting organisational development, and ensuring efficient HR processes within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

 

Essential Requirements

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration, or equivalent experience preferred

· Minimum 2–3 years of experience in HR, ideally in an HR Business Partner role or similar

· Hands-on experience supporting operational HR activities across the employee lifecycle

· Understanding of Total Rewards, Recruitment, and HR process principles

· Basic knowledge of Swiss labour law and experience supporting disciplinary processes

· Strong communication skills with the ability to operate effectively in a matrix organisation

· Proficiency in English and German

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage ambiguity, and handle high workloads

· Data-driven mindset with experience using HR systems, reporting tools, and dashboards

· Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to build collaborative relationships

 

Preferred Requirements

· Experience contributing to or leading HR projects (e.g. Talent Management, Performance Management, or Total Rewards)

· Experience supporting organisational design and change management initiatives

· Ability to coach and advise line managers on people-related topics

· Experience working in a collaborative, international HR environment

· Strong organisational and coordination skills across multiple HR activities

· Continuous improvement mindset with focus on HR efficiency and KPI tracking

 

Practicalities

Start Date: August or ASAP

Location: Visp, Switzerland (on-site presence required minimum 4 days per week)

Team: Member of the local HR Business Partnering team

Scope: Site-level HR support with collaboration across global HR network
