Field Service Engineer – Electrophysiology (Diegem, BE)
Contract: April 2026 – Dec 2026+ (100% FTE, high extension potential)
Location: Diegem, Belgium (80% field travel across Europe, 20% office/remote)
Hands-on Field Service Engineer installing, maintaining and troubleshooting sophisticated medical systems used in EP procedures. You’ll manage your own territory (Belgium + Europe), work directly with clinical customers, and support the new product launch peak across EMEA.
Core responsibilities:
Install/upgrade/repair advanced 3D cardiac mapping systems onsite at hospitals/cath labs
Independent territory management: plan weekly activities across Diegem/Europe (BE, Western/Eastern Europe, Scandinavia)
Diagnose & resolve equipment issues rapidly (using digital multimeter, safety tester, etc.)
Customer relationship management: performance reviews, complaint analysis, continuous improvement
Extensive travel (80%, short notice OK, flexible hours including weekends)
Documentation in Service Management System + escalate risks/opportunities
Safety/quality compliance (HSE standards)
Team context: Join 3-person Belgian team supporting massive EMEA region during new product launch ramp-up. 5 weeks paid training provided on equipment, databases and processes.
Must-haves:
Bachelor’s (or equivalent) in Biomedical/Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering
2+ years field service (medical device preferred but open to strong technical profiles)
Hands-on troubleshooting with test equipment (multimeter, safety tester)
Fluent English (written/spoken); French fluency = big advantage
Valid EU driver’s license
Physical capability: lift 35kg, frequent standing/bending
Flexible: 80% travel, irregular hours, short-notice OK
Customer-facing: excellent communicator for clinical environments
BE-based (remote OK due to travel)
