We are supporting a leading biotech company in search of a Digital Project Manager to step into an urgent interim need. The role bridges Marketing, Medical, and Infrastructure (BIS) teams, and will focus on delivering and maintaining digital assets, including patient apps and websites. This is an execution-focused role requiring strong project management, coordination, and vendor oversight.
The ideal candidate brings experience in digital operations within a pharmaceutical or biotech setting and is confident working with web platforms, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant delivery of projects.

Level: Manager (reporting into Director of German Business Operations)
Scope of the Role:
Oversee digital projects and platforms including patient-facing websites and app
Serve as a hands-on project manager, coordinating between Medical, Marketing, BIS, and external agencies
Ensure vendor management, timelines, and deliverables are tightly maintained
Support day-to-day execution including content updates, technical follow-ups, and QA checks
Drive cross-functional collaboration and ensure operational continuity following a limited handover
Core Responsibilities:
Digital Project & Operations Management
Maintain and update digital platforms (websites, apps, email platforms)
Coordinate ongoing digital maintenance and updates across multiple agencies
Drive operational execution and timelines for digital initiatives
Manage purchase orders, track budgets, and ensure vendor accountability
Ensure proper documentation, SOPs, and compliance with regulatory and data privacy guidelines
Collaborate on performance tracking and KPI reporting
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as the central digital liaison between:
Marketing – campaign content, messaging alignment
Medical Affairs – app functionality, patient engagement touchpoints
BIS (IT) – infrastructure, integrations, technical feasibility
External Vendors – web/app agencies, content partners
Represent the digital workstream in operational and planning discussions
Platform Oversight & Tools
App and disease-awareness websites
Coordinate SEO and technical enhancements in collaboration with internal teams
Ensure content is suitable and optimized for the channel (web, mobile, CRM, email)
Troubleshoot basic SAP/Veeva queries and escalate where needed
Must-Have Experience (hard skills):
3–5 years in digital roles within pharma/biotech
Comfortable with project tracking, documentation, and compliance workflows
Soft Skills:
Strong experience managing digital vendors, platforms, and timelines
Ability to navigate internal matrix structures and drive execution
Preferred Skills:
Good understanding of SEO and web infrastructure fundamentals
Strong interpersonal and delegation skills – able to move things forward independently
Background in launch or growth-stage environments a bonus
