Join our R&D team and help shape the future of hearing protection products — from idea to market launch.
As a Design Engineer, you take full ownership of industrial and visual design – from brainstorming customer needs to releasing functional products to the market. You transform concepts into manufacturable solutions through smart material choices, prototype creation, usability studies, and technical execution.
You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams (acoustic, material, manufacturing & product specialists) to bring innovative concepts to life and deliver products that are both technically robust and visually appealing.
Industrial Product Design
Create mechanical and visual product designs from concept to execution
Develop and manufacture functional & visual prototypes
Perform life-cycle, ergonomics & usability testing
Define materials & production methods (incl. injection molding, tooling & assembly)
Prepare 2D/3D CAD drawings and technical documentation
Apply Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DFM/DFA) principles
Provide technical feedback to suppliers & manufacturing engineering
Organize brainstorming & technical alignment sessions
Manage timelines, costs, certification & product release
Visual & Concept Design
Bring creative design ideas and mockups to life
Act as the bridge between Product Manager & Project Manager from a design perspective
Own internal/external communications from the design side
Must-Haves
BSc/MSc in Industrial Design Engineering
3+ years Design Engineering experience
Proficiency in SolidWorks (plus Keyshot, Fusion 360, Creo are a bonus)
Strong hands-on prototyping experience
Experience with multidisciplinary product development
Fluent in English (written & spoken)
Nice-to-Haves
Mechanical Engineering background
Project Management / Agile / Lean experience
Experience with on-body applications or acoustics/hearing products
Basic knowledge of non-medical device regulations
