Do you want to shape the future of hearing protection and bring innovative acoustical concepts to life? We are looking for a Senior Acoustics Engineer to join our R&D team, where you will transform customer needs into real?world solutions that reach the market.
This is a unique opportunity to work on end-to-end acoustical design – from prototypes and simulations to testing and market release – and contribute to technologies that protect hearing across industries and environments.
As our Acoustics Engineer, you will take ownership of the complete acoustical development process, including:
Lead the technical acoustical design of hearing protection products
Develop functional prototypes and validate acoustical feasibility
Design experiments, models and tools to evaluate performance
Conduct life-cycle and usability testing
Collaborate with Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering on product design
Support homologation, lab equipment and test setup design
Translate acoustical insights into product requirements with multidisciplinary teams
Connect acoustical properties to human hearing & ear anatomy
Assess audiological benefits for target users
Support evaluation and selection of materials from an acoustical perspective
Contribute to 2D/3D drawings and product documentation
Create new ideas and contribute to patent applications
Provide knowledge sharing across R&D in acoustics
Offer technical support to stakeholders, hearing care professionals and suppliers
Participate in brainstormings and technical discussions
Must-Have Qualifications:
BSc/MSc in Physics, Acoustics, Electronics, or Biomedical Engineering
5+ years of experience in Acoustics Engineering or strong affinity
Nice to Have:
DSP Engineering
Product Management or Project Management experience
Familiarity with medical device or on-body product development
