Validation & Engineering Officer

Job Description

As a Validation & Engineering Officer, you will join a specialized team within the Animal Health division dedicated to maintaining high-quality standards in a regulated production environment. You will act as a key collaborator between QA, Production, and external vendors to ensure all equipment and processes remain compliant and efficient.

In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and documentation of calibration and validation activities. Your focus will include overseeing installation trajectories for new equipment, conducting risk analyses such as FMEA, and supporting audits to ensure the facility consistently meets GMP requirements.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in a scientific field (e.g., Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences).

• Open to entry-level candidates; prior experience in validation is preferred but not required.

• Excellent command of Dutch and English (verbal and written).

• Technical knowledge of GMP regulations and calibration/sterilization validation.

Preferred Requirements

• Hands-on experience drafting and reviewing qualification documentation.

• Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies like FMEA.

• Strong administrative accuracy and structural insight for documentation management.

• Ability to work flexibly, including occasional weekend work if required by production schedules.
