We are seeking a Materials Management Specialist to support inventory planning, purchasing, and supply continuity for a CAR-T manufacturing program. This 7-month assignment is based in Leiden and involves close coordination with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure raw material availability and optimal warehouse performance in a fast-paced, cGMP-regulated environment.

The role requires a supply chain professional who thrives in a collaborative setting and understands the critical role inventory plays in supporting life-changing therapies. You’ll manage inventory trends, forecast demand, place and monitor purchase orders, and drive supply assurance during a period of growth and innovation.

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related discipline

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in materials management or supply chain within a cGMP-regulated environment

  • Strong understanding of inventory planning, warehouse operations, and procurement processes

  • Experience managing supplier relationships, purchase orders, and delivery schedules

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track performance metrics and optimize stock levels

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally

Desirable Requirements:

  • Prior experience in cell therapy or biologics manufacturing

  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and supply planning tools

  • Comfort working in dynamic, fast-scaling environments

  • Proactive approach to process improvement and cost optimization
