We are seeking a Materials Management Specialist to support inventory planning, purchasing, and supply continuity for a CAR-T manufacturing program. This 7-month assignment is based in Leiden and involves close coordination with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure raw material availability and optimal warehouse performance in a fast-paced, cGMP-regulated environment.
The role requires a supply chain professional who thrives in a collaborative setting and understands the critical role inventory plays in supporting life-changing therapies. You’ll manage inventory trends, forecast demand, place and monitor purchase orders, and drive supply assurance during a period of growth and innovation.

Essential Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related discipline
Minimum 3 years of experience in materials management or supply chain within a cGMP-regulated environment
Strong understanding of inventory planning, warehouse operations, and procurement processes
Experience managing supplier relationships, purchase orders, and delivery schedules
Analytical mindset with the ability to track performance metrics and optimize stock levels
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Desirable Requirements:
Prior experience in cell therapy or biologics manufacturing
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and supply planning tools
Comfort working in dynamic, fast-scaling environments
