The Senior QC Technician is responsible for executing and overseeing Quality Control activities within a regulated manufacturing environment. The role covers full sample lifecycle management, QC testing activities, and documentation within electronic quality systems. The position also supports investigations, documentation updates, and continuous improvement initiatives within the QC function. This role reports into QC Management and is offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Non-Negotiable Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or equivalent scientific discipline
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a regulated pharmaceutical or biotech environment
- Experience managing QC samples throughout the full sample lifecycle
- Experience working under GMP or equivalent regulated quality standards
- Experience using electronic quality or laboratory systems
- Knowledge of basic electronic systems, including email and Microsoft Office
Desirable Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
- Experience supporting QC testing for in-process, final product, or stability samples
- Experience with environmental or facility monitoring support activities
- Experience performing data review or verification within a QC environment
- Experience supporting deviations, investigations, or change control activities
- Experience with sample shipment to external testing laboratories, including cold chain handling
- Experience performing visual inspection of incoming goods
- Experience contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within a QC or manufacturing function
