QC Microbiology Laboratory Technician | QC Microbiology
Job Description
A global life sciences organisation is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join the QC Microbiology team and support daily routine analysis and laboratory activities. The role focuses on the execution, evaluation, review, and reporting of microbiological results in accordance with GMP, SOPs, and internal guidelines.
In this role, you will perform analytical methods within the assigned area, document laboratory activities, manage results in LIMS and MODA, and contribute to the training of new Microbiology employees and shift colleagues. The primary methodological focus will be on microbial identification and endotoxin testing.
Essential Requirements
· Experience performing routine microbiological analyses
· Experience executing analytical methods, evaluating, reviewing, and reporting results
· Experience preparing analysis protocols, test instructions, and short reports
· Experience entering and releasing results in LIMS and MODA according to internal procedures
· Strong understanding of GMP documentation and internal laboratory guidelines
· Ability to follow SOP, GMP, quality, and safety requirements
· Strong focus on laboratory cleanliness and organisation
· Experience or ability to train new employees in Microbiology and assigned shift areas
· Experience with microbial identification
· Experience with endotoxin testing
Preferred Requirements
· Experience working in a QC Microbiology laboratory
· Experience in a GMP-regulated life sciences environment
· Experience with laboratory result management and documentation systems
· Experience supporting the training and onboarding of new laboratory employees
