Job Title: QC Automation Specialist 1 – Lab Systems
About the Role:
We are looking for a QC Automation Specialist to support lab system automation at our pharmaceutical site. You will help automate lab processes, manage documentation, and support compliance and improvement initiatives.
About the Department:
The QC Automation team works on automating lab systems, supporting tools like LIMS and SDMS, and driving digital and paperless solutions. The team also ensures all systems meet compliance and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide automation support for lab systems and ensure proper data integration.
- Participate in or lead lab system projects like LIMS and SDMS.
- Create, review, and update SOPs, protocols, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with local and global stakeholders to align lab system projects.
- Lead continuous improvement projects in the lab using lean principles.
- Ensure compliance with EHSS, lean practices, and regulatory standards.
- Support other tasks assigned by the supervisor to meet team goals.
- Analyze lab system data for reporting and project tracking.
- Identify non-conformances in lab systems, products, and processes.
- Perform root cause analysis to solve issues and prevent recurrence.
Requirements:
- University/Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
- Relevant experience in lab automation or informatics in a regulated environment.
- Familiarity with LIMS, SDMS, and lab system documentation.
- Knowledge of lean principles, compliance, and root cause analysis.
