The Quality Control Analyst operates within the OPEX team in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The role focuses on executing, optimizing, verifying, and validating analytical methods for raw materials used in medicinal products. The position requires hands-on chromatographic expertise and structured scientific reporting to ensure compliant and high-quality analytical processes. The role contributes directly to analytical excellence, laboratory efficiency, and data integrity within a regulated environment.
Non-Negotiable Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
- Proven professional experience with chromatographic techniques including HPLC, UPLC, and GC.
- Demonstrated experience in analytical method development.
- Demonstrated experience in analytical method optimization and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated experience in analytical method validation.
- Experience performing and documenting compendial method verifications.
- Experience preparing structured scientific reports such as validation and verification reports.
- Professional experience within a pharmaceutical laboratory environment.
- No allergy to penicillins.
Desirable Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
- Knowledge of GMP regulations.
- Knowledge of GLP regulations.
- Knowledge of ICH guidelines.
- Experience within CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls).
- Experience in generic pharmaceutical development.
- Experience in veterinary medicinal products.
- Experience using Empower or equivalent chromatography data software.
- Experience performing method validation in a regulated pharmaceutical context.
