Process Engineer

A leading pharmaceutical company in Neuchâtel is seeking a Manufacturing Science Engineer to support their Manufacturing Science department as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).

This hybrid role focuses on the technology transfer of recombinant protein drug products, ensuring smooth integration into the receiving unit’s manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Serve as the SME for drug product manufacturing and tech transfer activities.

• Provide technical support and expertise to the receiving unit throughout the transfer.

• Evaluate process changes and proactively identify and mitigate associated risks.

• Support and participate in validation activities, including equipment and process qualifications.

• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues during transfer and scale-up.

• Develop and manage documentation such as protocols, reports, and risk assessments.

• Ensure adherence to GMP, regulatory, and internal quality standards.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, QA, Engineering, MS&T, etc.).

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Engineering, or related field.

• 3–5 years of experience in fill & finish (FF) operations with recombinant protein drug products.

• Strong background in drug product manufacturing and technology transfer.

• Solid understanding of GMP regulations and validation requirements.

• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

• Fluent in English and French (both required).

Location: Neuchâtel, Switzerland (Hybrid)
Contract Type: 7-month contract (with possibility for extension)
