We are supporting a cutting-edge biotech company at the forefront of precision medicine, combining deep biological insights with data science to accelerate the discovery of targeted therapies. As part of their continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Principal Computational Biologist to drive data-driven research strategies and translational discoveries.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the design and execution of computational strategies to support biomarker discovery, patient stratification, and therapeutic development
- Integrate multi-omics data (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, etc.) to generate actionable biological insight
- Collaborate closely with wet lab biologists, clinicians, and data scientists to build predictive models and analytical pipelines
- Mentor junior scientists and influence strategic direction across research program.
- Contribute to scientific publications and represent the company at conferences and collaborations
What You Bring:
- PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Systems Biology, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in biotech, pharma, or academia working on high-dimensional biological data
- Strong expertise in R, Python, and/or cloud computing environments
- Proven track record in translational science or drug discovery programs
- Deep understanding of human disease biology, particularly in oncology, immunology, or rare disease is a plus
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing decision-making at a strategic level
