A leading global biopharmaceutical organisation is seeking a Material Handler to join its state-of-the-art Cell Therapy manufacturing facility located in the Leiden.
You will join a dynamic and motivated Materials Management and Supply Chain team, playing a key role in supporting production operations through efficient handling and movement of materials in compliance with GMP standards. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to life-changing therapies in a fast-paced, collaborative, and high-growth environment.
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
On-site position: 5 days per week
Execute internal and external temperature-controlled material requests across multiple unit operations under cleanroom conditions.
Complete required (electronic) documentation in accordance with process transfer protocols, standard operating procedures, and batch records.
Respond to system and equipment alarms during and outside office hours as part of a rotating schedule.
Support setup and qualification of warehouse operations, equipment, and fixtures.
Perform all activities in line with safety policies, quality systems, and GMP regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate material movement to support manufacturing operations.
Support inventory control processes, including cycle counts and material reconciliation.
Carry out additional duties as assigned by management.
Relevant education or experience in Science, Facilities, or Engineering at VMBO / MBO level.
Prior experience working in a GMP-regulated warehouse or production environment
Understanding of materials management processes, including receiving, storage, and inventory control.
Experience with cold chain logistics and handling temperature-sensitive materials is an advantage
Skilled in the use of manual or electric material handling equipment
