As the Marketing Events & Congress Lead (m/f/d), you’ll be at the forefront of driving brand visibility and engagement across the EMEA region. This role focuses on managing third-party events and medical congresses from strategy to execution. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure flawless delivery of high-impact experiences aligned with business goals.
Lead the strategic planning and execution of external events, sponsorships, and congress participation across EMEA
Oversee all event logistics, from booth design to on-site coordination and post-event reporting
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align event activities with broader marketing objectives
Mentor and manage the Event & Congress team, fostering a high-performance, accountable culture
Develop and monitor budgets, ensuring cost-effective execution and compliance with industry regulations
Drive lead generation initiatives and analyze event effectiveness to optimize future campaigns
Coordinate with vendors, speakers, and partners to ensure premium execution standards
Champion knowledge-sharing and best practice development within the team
Degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
5+ years of event and congress experience, ideally in MedTech, pharma, or other regulated industries
Proven experience leading and developing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, international environment
Excellent communication skills in English; additional European languages are an asset
Hands-on, detail-oriented project management style with a proactive and adaptable mindset
Strong stakeholder engagement and vendor management experience
Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Cvent or similar platforms is essential
Willingness to travel up to 50% across the EMEA region
