We are looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Support Engineer to provide daily support on the production floor at Groningen. You will troubleshoot deviations, drive process improvements, and contribute to the quality, safety, and efficiency of our manufacturing processes. This is an onsite role requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and resolve product and process deviations on the manufacturing floor.
Serve as a safety, quality, and service ambassador.
Create and update SOPs and technical documentation.
Investigate production bottlenecks and provide data-driven reporting.
Conduct yield and cost analyses to support process optimization.
Support equipment evaluation, vendor selection, and process validation activities.
Facilitate capability studies and process experiments.
Drive continuous improvement and implement lean manufacturing tools.
Collaborate across departments to support design for manufacturability.
Maintain compliance with EHSS and applicable quality standards
Requirements:
Minimum vocational or technical degree, preferably in engineering or manufacturing-related field.
2–4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably highly regulated (e.g., medical devices, pharma).
Knowledge of manufacturing principles, process validations, and cleanroom protocols.
Familiarity with GMP, QSR, EU MDR, ISO 13485, ISO 14971 (preferred).
LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt certification (preferred).
Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Fluent in both Dutch and English.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Willing and able to work full-time onsite in a cleanroom and regulated setting.
