Logistics Specialist – Warehouse & Supply Chain Operations | GMP / Regulated Environment
Company Description
A leading organization is seeking a Logistics Specialist to manage end-to-end warehouse operations, ensuring efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of goods and materials. This role is pivotal in maintaining smooth logistics workflows, accurate inventory control, and timely support for internal stakeholders.
Job Description
As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse and logistics activities, including material receipt, storage, order picking, and shipping preparation. You will ensure proper documentation, traceability of goods, and support internal customers on logistics-related queries. The role requires experience with SAP and automated warehouse systems, operational accuracy, and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect incoming materials for quality and quantity compliance
Record and track incoming goods in SAP to ensure full documentation and traceability
Store and retrieve items in both automated and manual warehouse systems
Operate and monitor automated warehouse machines and complex conveyor systems
Pick and prepare goods for shipment according to orders
Label and package items to ensure smooth transport
Maintain complete documentation and archives for all warehouse transactions
Serve as a competent point of contact for internal customers regarding inventory, shipping status, and logistics inquiries
Essential Requirements:
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in logistics operations, ideally with SAP and automated warehouse systems
SUVA-certified forklift training (categories R1 and R2)
Proficient German language skills (English advantageous)
Desirable Qualifications:
Additional logistics or supply chain certifications
Experience in regulated or GMP environments
Key Competencies:
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Attention to detail and operational accuracy
Effective communication with internal stakeholders
Ability to work independently and proactively
Familiarity with warehouse management systems and automated processes
