Accountabilities

  • Support IT Application Owners across manufacturing, warehouse, and plant IT systems, ensuring systems remain operational and compliant within a GxP environment
  • Maintain day-to-day system performance (“keep the lights on”), including incident management, issue tracking, and resolution
  • Assess, plan, monitor, and report on system changes, ensuring timely and compliant implementation
  • Investigate system reliability issues using structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g. 5 Whys), driving root cause analysis and resolution
  • Support ITIL processes within CMDB/ticketing systems, ensuring proper documentation, tracking, and closure of incidents and changes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Manufacturing, Warehouse, QA, IT) to identify and implement system and process improvements
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability, efficiency, and performance
  • Support implementation of new technologies and digital initiatives across manufacturing and warehouse environments
  • Ensure systems and changes remain compliant with GxP, GDP, and validation requirements
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including SOPs, training materials, and system reports in line with GAMP5 standards
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and support modernization initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • HBO level with ~3 years’ experience in IT/OT within a manufacturing environment or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or similar) with a hands-on mindset
  • Experience with IT application management and ITIL processes
  • Understanding of GxP environments and system compliance requirements
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal)

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience within pharmaceutical or regulated environments (GMP/GDP, distribution, packaging)
  • Exposure to manufacturing, warehouse, or plant IT systems
  • Experience supporting validated systems and working within GAMP5 frameworks
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and root cause analysis (e.g. 5 Whys)
  • Affinity with digital initiatives and system modernization projects

Technical Expertise

  • Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and basic database environments
  • Experience troubleshooting and supporting IT applications in operational environments
  • Knowledge of documentation standards (SOPs, validation documentation, training materials)
  • Comfortable with MS Office and reporting tools
  • Ability to analyze system performance and reliability issues
