An international biopharmaceutical company is looking for an experienced Interim Regional Operations Planning Lead to support the EU Supply Chain and Technical Operations Planning for its cell therapy decentralized manufacturing network. This strategic and hands-on role plays a key part in aligning production schedules, capacity plans, and material supply to ensure smooth execution across multiple European sites.

Production Scheduling – Develop and manage regional production schedules aligned with clinical demand, tech transfers, and site maintenance.
Capacity Planning – Lead capacity analyses to optimize resource utilization and identify bottlenecks across the EU network.
Team Leadership – Oversee a team of supply planners, ensuring timely ordering of raw materials and delivery of material kits to manufacturing sites.
Performance Reporting – Analyze operational data and report regularly on production performance, efficiencies, and risks to senior leadership.
Cross-Functional Coordination – Act as a central link between Manufacturing, QC, Supply Chain, Clinical Operations, and Site Management to align on planning and logistics.
Strategic Support – Contribute to capacity expansion strategies and long-term planning based on operational insights and demand forecasts.
System Utilization – Use ERP/MRP and planning tools to manage operations effectively and support data-driven decision making.
Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or capacity management, ideally in biopharma or cell therapy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a structured, data-driven approach.
Proven experience in working with ERP/MRP systems.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
