We are seeking an Engineering Manager – Computer Vision to lead the development of cutting-edge software solutions at the intersection of 3D vision, material science, and artificial intelligence. In this role, you will shape and execute the technical roadmap for a team that blends applied research with production software development, enabling transformative workflows in precision manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive strategy, execution, and cross-functional alignment for initiatives involving 3D reconstruction, and robotics.
- Oversee R&D projects that span data acquisition, real-time computer vision, and texture mapping, guiding the integration of scientific insight into scalable engineering solutions.
- Mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers and researchers, fostering technical growth, collaborative problem-solving, and excellence in delivery.
- Partner with product, design, and hardware teams to bring advanced research into robust, user-facing production environments.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in AI/ML team management.
- Proven track record in bringing applied research—particularly in computer vision or 3D systems—from prototype to production.
- Deep familiarity with 2D/3D vision technologies, geometry processing, or computational texture/material modelling.
- Demonstrated ability to lead interdisciplinary initiatives combining software, hardware, and scientific research domains.
- Experience guiding PhD-level researchers and working in high-ownership, innovation-driven environments.
