Job Description

A global life sciences organisation is seeking an experienced EI&C DeltaV Engineer to support CAPEX projects at a regulated manufacturing site in Visp. The role focuses on Emerson DeltaV engineering and configuration, system integration, GxP documentation, commissioning, qualification, and startup activities.
In this role, you will design and implement DeltaV automation solutions, configure control strategies, system interfaces, graphics, alarms, and process automation applications. You will work closely with Engineering, Operations, Validation, Quality, and Project teams to deliver compliant automation solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential Requirements

· Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
· Hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV system engineering and configuration
· Experience developing and maintaining GxP documentation within regulated industries
· Knowledge of commissioning, qualification, and validation processes
· Experience with CAPEX project environments
· Experience with process automation and control systems
· Experience supporting system integration with process equipment, PLCs, utility systems, MES, and other plant systems
· Experience executing and documenting FAT, SAT, IQ/OQ, commissioning, qualification, and startup activities
· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
· Understanding of GMP, data integrity, change management, and validation requirements
· Strong root cause analysis capabilities
· Ability to collaborate effectively with Engineering, Operations, Validation, Quality, and Project teams
· German required; English proficiency preferred

Preferred Requirements

· Experience designing and implementing DeltaV automation solutions for pharmaceutical or other regulated CAPEX projects
· Experience configuring control strategies, system interfaces, graphics, alarms, and process automation applications
· Experience troubleshooting automation, communication, and control system issues throughout the project lifecycle
· Experience working in cross-functional project environments
· Strong project execution and stakeholder collaboration skills

Location: Visp, Switzerland
Contract Type: 1-year contract with possibility of extension
Work Arrangement: 100% site-based
