Data Architect

One of our biotech partner is looking for an IT Data Architect. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that support business objectives and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data architecture strategy aligned with business goals.

• Design scalable, high-performing data models and solutions.

• Define and enforce data governance policies to ensure compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, and other standards.

• Manage the full data lifecycle from acquisition to storage, transformation, and retrieval.

• Lead data classification and leak prevention strategies to protect sensitive information.

• Oversee design and optimization of data lakes/warehouses to support analytics.

• Manage asset tracking through the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

• Design and test disaster recovery plans for data systems.

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders; translate complex concepts for non-technical audiences.

• Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance data capabilities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as an IT Data Architect or similar role.

• Strong experience with cloud-based data solutions and architectures.

• Solid understanding of data analytics, machine learning, and AI concepts.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

• Deep knowledge of data modeling and database optimization.

• Expertise in data governance, compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA), and security.

• Hands-on with databases, ETL tools, and data warehouse solutions.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Fluent in Dutch and English. (No Visa offered for this role)
