Software Engineer – Computer Vision & Data Processing

The Role

In this position, you will design and maintain software pipelines that transform multi-modal sensor inputs into reliable insights. You’ll collaborate across disciplines to deliver scalable solutions for production environments while also contributing to innovation and prototyping.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop algorithms for processing time-series, image, and multispectral data.

• Build efficient, maintainable solutions optimized for Linux-based edge devices.

• Prototype and test new sensing and data acquisition approaches.

• Validate and ensure robustness of computer vision algorithms.

• Document processes, software components, and results for knowledge sharing.

• Stay current with developments in computer vision, image processing, and related fields.

Your Profile

We are looking for a versatile engineer who combines strong theoretical knowledge with hands-on coding skills. Ideally you bring:

• Degree in computer science, applied mathematics, or a related discipline with focus on computer vision, signal processing, or machine learning.

• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.

• Solid programming skills in C++ and familiarity with software architecture principles.

• Strong foundation in linear algebra, signal processing, and algorithm design.

• Knowledge of system-level programming concepts (e.g. memory buffers, IPC) plus scripting experience in Python or similar.

• Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts in English.
