Business Application Specialist role focused on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) administration, configuration, and continuous improvement. You will translate business needs (finance, procurement, supply chain) into scalable system configurations and integrations, ensuring reliable operations, strong governance, and high-quality documentation.
Key focus areas:
- Configure and administer D365 F&O across multiple modules (e.g., AP, AR, Procurement, Inventory, Finance), including new companies/legal entities setup.
- Design, build, and maintain integrations between D365 F&O and external systems (interfaces, data consistency, security).
- Deliver enhancements such as workflows, reports, automation, and configuration changes aligned with business processes.
- Lead upgrades, testing, deployments (release management), with robust documentation and minimal business disruption.
- Provide advanced support: troubleshooting complex issues, monitoring performance, optimizing configurations, and supporting key user groups (Finance/Operations).
- Enforce governance and standardization: best practices, security policies, and alignment to enterprise IT architecture.
- Support procurement processes in D365 F&O: category setup, vendor management, and policy compliance.
Profile:
- 5+ years in finance systems administration/configuration/support (enterprise ERP environment).
- Strong hands-on D365 F&O administration and configuration experience (multi-entity environments preferred).
- Solid understanding of Finance processes.
- Proven experience with system integration concepts and delivery (data flows, security, interface monitoring, troubleshooting).
- 2+ years with SQL programming and/or data management (queries, validation, troubleshooting).
- Experience with testing and deployments (UAT coordination, regression testing, release documentation).
