Looking for an opportunity to join a booming biotech in Beerse, Belgium – then this could be your chance! We are looking for an EHS Manager with expertise in ESSS Support, Design and Change to support on additional projects.
Key responsibilities:
You lead EHS (environment, health & safety) design and review meetings in collaboration with project leaders from other departments.
You guide EHS impact assessments for changes at various sites in Belgium.
You can provide generalist advice on EHS topics in various domains (process safety, personal safety, environment, etc.) for changes or design aspects. For specialized knowledge, you reach out to various other experts.
You carry out legal commissioning for changes, new equipment and changed or new workplaces and create/write the corresponding reports in the systems.
Not the construction safety but looking more for someone with experience in design and change.
Key requirements:
You hold the certificate of prevention advisor.
You have a strong general knowledge regarding safety and health at work, as well as the necessary practical experience.
Knowledge of environmental legislation is a plus.
Technical knowledge/experience is a plus.
You have knowledge and/or experience in cross-sectoral companies (pharma, consumer, medical devices).
Certified prevention advisor is a plus
Experience working in the (petro)chemical sector, production, or production supportive environment and knowledge of chemical processes are assets.
Experience in project management is an additional asset.
You have good communication skills and can interact with people at all levels within the organization.
You are flexible and willing to travel to different sites in Belgium (Geel, Beerse, Olen, Merksem, Gent, Courcelles, La Louvière, Diegem, Brussels).
You can work independently, take initiative, and responsibility.
You have a good knowledge of Dutch and English (reading, writing, and speaking). Good knowledge of French is a plus.
