For a leading pharmaceutical company, I am looking for a Planner/Buyer – Indirect Materials/Services who wants to make the next step into a dynamic career where growth is encouraged.

You will be joining a supply chain team that will contribute to the integration into global purchasing procedures.


  • Entire purchasing process (Procure-to-Pay)
  • Good integration of the Eindhoven branch in the applicable worldwide purchasing procedures and systems
  • Progress deliveries/orders
  • Contact with suppliers
  • Controls of purchasing process
  • Solving problems (system, but also orders/deliveries)
  • Order administration
  • Purchasing, Logistical and Financial coordination and handling of the purchasing process.
  • Financial control on purchasing activities
  • Central point of contact for the R&D/Production location Groningen and Eindhoven regarding the purchase of Indirect Materials & Services
  • Collaboration with multiple purchasing functions worldwide (including Global Services Indirect Sourcing in the Czech Republic and Accounts Payable in Ireland)
  • Be able to replace at least direct colleagues (Buyer/Planner Direct Materials & Buyer/Planner Indirect Materials) and willing to learn other activities (including production planning)


  • Completed HBO education - direction (logistics, business economics, business administration)
  • Ariba/ E-Marketplace experiences is a plus
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • NEVI 1 & 2 (preferred/pre)
  • Good knowledge in English & Dutch (word & writing)
  • Project-based knowledge and experience
  • Flexible to travel 20 – 40% between working from home, location in Groningen and location in Eindhoven
  • Willing to work within an integration project for operational procurement activities (Procure to Pay)
  • High awareness and capacity to work within a high-quality compliance organization
  • Process insight and natural “drive” to improve
  • Able to learn quickly (with regard to purchasing systems)
  • Likes to understand systems and processes and likes transactional activities with some variety due to, among other things, projects
  • Minimum 2 years work experience
  • Knowledge and affinity with the financial settlement of purchase orders
  • Good oral and written skills in English and Dutch

HOURS: 40 hours a week

DURATION: 12 months with high chance of extension 

LOCATION: Groningen/Eindhoven/Hybrid
