Role
As a Product Development Engineer, you will drive the development of innovative medical technology products within neuro monitoring and clinical neurophysiology. You will be involved across the full product lifecycle, from concept design to final production, working closely with a multidisciplinary engineering team. The role focuses on prototype development, design validation, regulatory compliance, and ensuring manufacturability of high-quality medical devices.

Non-Negotiable Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Product Development Engineer role.
  • Experience working within the medical device industry.
  • Experience with product development processes from concept to production.
  • Experience with design verification, testing, and validation of prototypes.
  • Experience working with design control and/or change control processes.
  • Experience producing and maintaining technical documentation related to product development.
  • Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
 
Desirable Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
  • Experience with SolidWorks.
  • Experience analyzing new materials, components, and technologies for product development.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing process improvements or working with production environments.
  • Experience working with external suppliers or international production sites.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards applicable to medical devices.
  • Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
