Description
The Lead Technician will coordinate a team of Maintenance Technicians and contractors looking after critical utilities at a biopharmaceutical manufacturing site in the Netherlands. The role combines team leadership and utilities oversight with a strong hands-on technical background, reporting to the maintenance manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of Maintenance Technicians day to day.
• Manage contractors carrying out work on site utilities.
• Oversee the reliability and maintenance of boilers, steam, chillers and HVAC systems.
• Plan and prioritise maintenance work across the team.
• Support troubleshooting of complex utilities issues hands-on when needed.
• Ensure work is carried out safely and in line with site procedures.

Essential Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience working with industrial utilities.
• Experience coordinating technicians, teams or contractors.
• Availability for a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Ability to start on 1 December (notice handed in by end of October).

Preferred Requirements

• Previous formal team lead or supervisory role.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech or other regulated manufacturing environment.
• Dutch language skills.

Salary: around €75K including 13th month and 8% holiday allowance (flexible).
