Specialist Expertise, Operational Excellence and the Future of MSP Partnerships

A Conversation with Merel van Os Following Panda International's Recognition as a Randstad Sourceright EMEA Preferred Supplier 2026

Panda International has been recognised as a Randstad Sourceright EMEA Preferred Supplier for 2026, an achievement awarded to a select group of suppliers demonstrating exceptional performance across partnership, operational excellence, worker experience and delivery.

To understand what this recognition means for Panda, the wider MSP landscape and the evolving role of specialist suppliers, we sat down with Merel van Os, Director of MSP at Panda International.

Panda has been recognised as a Randstad Sourceright EMEA Preferred Supplier for 2026. What does this recognition mean to the team?

This recognition validates something we've believed for a long time: specialist expertise and operational excellence can outperform scale alone.

Out of thousands of suppliers across EMEA, Panda was recognised for consistently delivering in the areas that matter most within complex MSP environments: partnership, worker experience, operational alignment, compliance, and delivery performance.

What makes this especially meaningful is that we're a specialist life sciences business competing against some of the largest staffing organisations in the world. Yet, we've repeatedly achieved top-supplier status across global programmes.

Randstad highlighted operational alignment, worker experience and multi-country delivery. What makes those areas so difficult to execute consistently?

It's the combination of all three.

Many suppliers can perform well in one market or fill positions quickly. Far fewer can deliver consistently across multiple countries while remaining compliant, audit-ready and aligned to client processes.

Every country brings different labour regulations, onboarding requirements and compliance obligations. Maintaining the same level of delivery, governance, and worker experience across multiple markets requires strong processes, local expertise and operational discipline.

That's where true MSP capability is demonstrated.

Why do some specialist suppliers struggle inside MSP programmes?

Because being a great recruiter and being a great MSP supplier are not the same thing.

Finding talent is only one part of the equation. Suppliers also need to manage governance, compliance, reporting, stakeholder expectations and service-level requirements while maintaining a strong candidate and hiring manager experience.

Success comes from combining specialist recruitment expertise with operational maturity. At Panda, we've invested heavily in both.

What advantage does specialist life sciences expertise bring to MSP environments?

In regulated industries like life sciences, expertise matters.

Understanding GMP, validation, quality systems, manufacturing operations, engineering, automation and regulatory affairs allows us to assess talent more accurately and provide more meaningful market insight.

Our teams work exclusively across life sciences functions, including Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Validation, Automation, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs and Clinical. That depth of knowledge and having dedicated account managers for our MSP accounts enables us to engage with clients and candidates at a much higher level than a generalist supplier.

What separates trusted MSP suppliers from those that create operational friction?

Trusted suppliers think like partners.

They communicate proactively, provide honest market feedback, maintain accurate data and take ownership when challenges arise. They focus on long-term outcomes rather than short-term transactions.

Ultimately, trust is built through consistency. The best suppliers make life easier for MSP teams and hiring managers by reducing complexity rather than adding to it.

Looking ahead, what role will specialist suppliers play in the future of MSP programmes?

I believe specialist suppliers will become increasingly important.

As regulations become more complex and talent shortages continue across critical functions, organisations need more than recruitment capacity. They need market intelligence, compliance awareness, industry expertise and strategic guidance.

The strongest MSP ecosystems will combine world-class programme management with specialist suppliers who can deliver deep sector knowledge alongside operational excellence.

I believe this recognition reflects that shift.

Final Thoughts

Being recognised as a Randstad Sourceright EMEA Preferred Supplier for 2026 is something we're incredibly proud of.

More importantly, it reinforces what we see every day across the life sciences industry: organisations need partners who combine specialist expertise with consistent execution.

For Panda, this recognition is not just about performance. It's a reflection of the partnerships we've built, the standards we uphold and the value that specialist knowledge brings to complex workforce programmes.
