For a scale-up medical device company in Utrecht area we are looking for a Supply Chain Planner. As a Supply Chain Planner you oversee and optimize our supply chain operations, from forecast to delivery. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in aligning sales, operations, and supply chain strategies to meet business goals. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the entire supply chain, ensuring smooth coordination and execution from demand forecasting to inventory management.
  • Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, aligning sales forecasts with supply chain operations to optimize production and inventory levels.
  • Manage strategic planning initiatives, ensuring accurate planning for upcoming years and keeping team members accountable for meeting schedules and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, supply chain, and operations teams to drive performance and optimize planning processes.
  • Implement and optimize ERP systems, transitioning to Microsoft Dynamics 365, ensuring system parameters are correctly set for maximum efficiency.
  • Ensure the availability of raw materials, components, and finished goods to meet production and customer demand.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies to address supply chain challenges such as component shortages and fluctuating lead times.
  • Act as a backup for the Supply Chain Officer, overseeing purchase orders for raw materials, components, and finished goods.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, logistics, or related roles.
  • Strong background in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) or Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
  • Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), with a focus on planning, forecasting, and inventory management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills to collaborate across departments and optimize processes.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive continuous improvement, and adapt to a changing environment.
