For a scale-up medical device company in Utrecht area we are looking for a Supply Chain Planner. As a Supply Chain Planner you oversee and optimize our supply chain operations, from forecast to delivery. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in aligning sales, operations, and supply chain strategies to meet business goals. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire supply chain, ensuring smooth coordination and execution from demand forecasting to inventory management.
Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, aligning sales forecasts with supply chain operations to optimize production and inventory levels.
Manage strategic planning initiatives, ensuring accurate planning for upcoming years and keeping team members accountable for meeting schedules and deadlines.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, supply chain, and operations teams to drive performance and optimize planning processes.
Implement and optimize ERP systems, transitioning to Microsoft Dynamics 365, ensuring system parameters are correctly set for maximum efficiency.
Ensure the availability of raw materials, components, and finished goods to meet production and customer demand.
Develop risk mitigation strategies to address supply chain challenges such as component shortages and fluctuating lead times.
Act as a backup for the Supply Chain Officer, overseeing purchase orders for raw materials, components, and finished goods.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, logistics, or related roles.
Strong background in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) or Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), with a focus on planning, forecasting, and inventory management.
Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills to collaborate across departments and optimize processes.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive continuous improvement, and adapt to a changing environment.
