Sr. Facilities Technician / Coordinator
For one of our Biotech clients in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Sr. Facilities Technician/Coordinator.
In this role you will be responsible for planning and coordinating scheduled and emergency maintenance on critical process equipment, utility systems, HVAC systems, and facilities. You will work closely with various stakeholders to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all third-party maintenance activities on building installations and laboratory equipment.
- Support the Facilities manager, providing supervision of work performed by equipment vendors
- Coordinate maintenance activities with laboratory managers, quality control, and process development customer groups.
- Evaluate equipment and recommend changes to maintenance plans and spare part stocking levels
Requirements:
- MBO/HBO technical education or equivalent experience
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills.
- Strong coordination and planning skills
- Proven experience operating and maintaining equipment and facilities in a pharmaceutical environment, min 5 years.
- Experience and proficiency troubleshooting pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, and HVAC systems is a plus
- Experience with control systems, PLC’s and BMS systems is plus
- Positive attitude, service-oriented, and willingness/ability to perform tasks independently
Practicalities
- Start Date: ASAP (can be flexible)
- Set-up: Direct contract initially starting with 12 months and then indefinite thereafter
- Location: Amsterdam
