Job Title: Immuno-Oncology Scientist

Location: Walloon Region, Belgium 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced scientist to join our dynamic client team focused on immuno-oncology research. You will play a key role in advancing the understanding of cancer biology and developing innovative therapeutic approaches using animal models. We value your expertise, but we are also looking for someone who is a team player, collaborative, and brings a positive and creative attitude to the work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, conduct, and analyze experiments using cell culture, macrophage, and flow cytometry techniques to investigate immune responses in cancer models.
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of new research methods and protocols.
  • Analyze and interpret experimental data, draw conclusions, and present findings to the team and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from various disciplines, including biologists, chemists, and engineers.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in immuno-oncology research.
  • Participate in team meetings, discussions, and brainstorming sessions.
  • Lead assigned research projects independently and effectively.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Immunology, Cell Biology, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in immuno-oncology research with a focus on animal models.
  • Strong expertise in cell culture, macrophage techniques, and flow cytometry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Creative and innovative approach to research.
  • Positive attitude, team player, and collaborative spirit.
