Research Scientist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced research scientist to join our client’s growing team. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Microbiology, Immunology, or a related field, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting research on the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment of infectious diseases. You will also be responsible for analyzing data, writing reports, and presenting your findings to the team and to external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment of infectious diseases
• Design and conduct experiments
• Analyze data and write reports
• Present findings to the team and to external stakeholders
• Collaborate with other scientists on research projects
• Stay up to date on the latest advances in infectious disease research

Qualifications:

• PhD in Microbiology, Immunology, or a related field
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Strong proficiency in laboratory techniques, including microbiology, molecular biology, and cell culture
• Experience with animal models of infection is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Fluency in English and/or French is required
