QC Associate Microbiology

Our client, a pioneering biotech company, is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented QC Associate with expertise in microbiology to join their dynamic team.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Microbiological Testing: Conduct microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to assess microbial quality and compliance with specifications.

2. Quality Control: Perform quality control procedures, including environmental monitoring, water testing, and endotoxin testing.

3. Method Validation: Participate in the development and validation of microbiological test methods, ensuring their accuracy and reliability.

4. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate microbiological testing equipment and ensure compliance with relevant standards.

5. Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret microbiological test data, promptly report any deviations or discrepancies, and initiate investigations and corrective actions when necessary.

6. Documentation Control: Ensure the accurate and organized management of all microbiological testing records, reports, and quality documentation.

7. Quality Audits: Assist in internal and external quality audits, addressing findings, and implementing corrective actions.

8. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and industry best practices in microbiological testing and quality control.
    

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in microbiology, biology, or a related life sciences field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in microbiological testing and quality control, preferably within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
• Profound knowledge of microbiological test methods, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in equipment maintenance and method validation is highly desirable.
