Process Technology Manager – Almere, Netherlands
For our leading medical device client we are looking for a Process Technology Manager to lead the Process Technology Department, ensuring production methods comply with industry guidelines and safety standards through scientific validation. You will manage both strategic and operational tasks while ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for all technical production matters, both internally and externally.
- Manage the Process Technology Department.
- Oversee research, design, and documentation of new processes.
- Ensure execution of process risk assessments.
- Identify, assess, and implement process changes.
- Facilitate the transfer of new processes and design changes to production.
- Lead root cause investigations and manage non-conformities, CAPA projects, and risk assessments.
Experience & Qualifications:
Essential:
- Proven experience in process technology within a regulated industry (pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or medical devices).
- Strong understanding of production methods and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to lead a department and manage strategic and operational tasks.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Fluent in English.
Desirable:
- Advanced degree in a STEM field.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with global regulatory environments.
- Project management experience and cross-functional leadership.
- Fluency in Dutch.
