As an all-round Inbound Logistics Operator, you will work within the warehouse inbound team, responsible for resolving, checking and processing/booking goods receipts. These goods receipts originate from a large batch, both internally and externally reliable. It almost immediately concerns semi-finished products, including medicinal products (medications) and components such as package inserts, labels, packaging materials, etc. These semi-finished products are then collected (picked) for the production department, where they are ultimately manufactured.
Within this position you will receive daily management and control from the incoming overview (team leader) and standard activities are laid down in procedures and work instructions. Takes are executed and recorded within the SAP Warehouse Management system.
Primarily taken and responsibilities:

  • Physical receipt of incoming goods (unloading and checking freight, unpacking and placing on internal storage resources).
  • Control of incoming goods: physical US supplied documentation US system data (SAP).
  • Entering and processing receipts in SAP.
  • Placing goods in storage and/or moving them within the warehouse with a reach truck, forklift and EPT.
  • Ensuring order and tidiness: a safe establishment in which quality is guaranteed.

 Secondary taken: and responsibilities

  • Carrying out internal stock counts/checks.
  • Disposing/processing various types of waste originating from both the warehouse and the production department.
  • Registering, sorting and managing delivered parcel shipments and mail.
  • Picking of production orders (delivering semi-finished products to the Production department for manufacturing of fabrications).
  • Manage and store inventory of the internal Kanban system.

 Minimum Job Requirements:

  • MBO working & thinking level.
  • >1 year relevant work experience in a daily/warehousing environment and role.
  • Good command of the English language (both spoken and written).
  • Accuracy and quality orientation.

Preferred qualifications – these are not hard requirements, the most important thing is to bring the right motivation and eagerness to learn!

  • Experience in a pharmaceutical and/or highly regulated electronic (chemical and/or food) sector.
  • Experience with warehouse management system (preferably SAP WM).
  • Reach truck and EPT certificate.
