For a top Agricultural company in Enkhuizen we are looking for a Group Lead who will be responsible to manage and Lead multiple operational teams and accountable for all receiving, packing and internal transport activities within his/her teams. Together with the rest of the management team, responsible for the overall strategy deployment of the plant
Responsibilities:
Ensure full compliance on HSE, Quality and Security standards. Secure a safe and healthy work environment.
Coach and lead teams and employees, stimulate development of people through education, training and exchange, and recruit, motivate and assess performance of staff.
Realize output in accordance with targets and SLA's by securing operational resources
Put the customer first by developing a quality mindset in executing processes and product.
Continuously improve operational processes through Daily Management and lean manufacturing initiatives
Initiate and lead capital proposal program for his/her Group. Secure a timely execution of all maintenance and sustenance programs together with maintenance suppliers.
Participate in plant leadership team to develop and implement plant strategies and have focus on the end-to-end plant results.
Manage total costs within his/her department. Prepare budget for next year and align with the approved budget during the year.
Initiate and manage contracts with third party suppliers and suppliers of transport of our products.
Act as a head of security for airfreight, retain the status of ‘known consignor’ of the site.
Your Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in logistics management, business administration or operations management
Good knowledge and attitude towards Operational Excellence
Sufficient experience in a leading position leading team
Experience with or a good feel for automation and robotization
Experience with implementing Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
Effective communicator well developed written & presentation skills.
