We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer for a dynamic company at the forefront of developing large-scale energy storage systems based on clean technology. As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will be involved in the design and optimization of unique energy storage systems. Your contributions will help shape the future of sustainable energy solutions.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design and develop components and systems for large-scale energy storage.
Continuously improve and refine the design and performance of the energy storage systems.
Utilize your expertise in power electronics, electric motors/generators, automation, and control systems to optimize system efficiency.
Manage complex projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.
Work with modeling tools such as Matlab/Simulink or Python to simulate and analyze system performance.
Stay updated on advancements in sustainable technology, smart grids, and energy management systems.
Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients, building strong relationships based on trust and professionalism.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of industrial experience in electrical infrastructure, ranging from 10 kW to several megawatts (AC or DC).
Strong knowledge of power electronics, electric motors/generators, automation, and control systems.
Experience in managing complex projects from inception to completion.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Proficiency in modeling processes and systems using tools such as Matlab/Simulink or Python.
Passion for sustainable technology and its role in shaping a greener future.
Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
