One of our clients, a leading Medical Device organization is searching for a skilled Bioinformatician to join their team. This position offers a unique chance to apply your expertise in bioinformatics to contribute to innovative advancements in the medical field. As a Bioinformatician, you will play a critical role in analyzing complex biological data and driving bioinformatics solutions for medical devices.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand research objectives and provide bioinformatics support.
- Developing and implementing computational pipelines for analyzing genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic data.
- Applying advanced statistical techniques and data mining methods to identify patterns, biomarkers, and insights.
- Interpreting and visualizing large-scale omics data sets to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Documenting and presenting results to internal teams and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Master's or Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in bioinformatics analysis, preferably in the medical device or healthcare industry.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Perl.
- Strong knowledge of genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics data analysis tools and databases.
- Experience with statistical analysis and data visualization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
