The main responsibilities of a Social-Media and Customer Experience Trainee

We all know that content is the king in all sorts of businesses and the same is the case with Recruitment marketing. As a Social-media and customer experience trainee you will play an important role in supporting Panda International’s brand, optimising our customer experience and attracting candidates for the growth of the organisation. You will work closely with the Senior Growth Marketer and the Internal recruitment team to develop new strategies and ideas to reach these objectives. You will also have independent responsibilities, for example, maintaining our brand's quality across all social media channels, driving engagement on content, attracting driven professionals to join the business, and maintaining candidate engagement at all touch points of the customer experience. In short, you are an entrepreneur within a fast-paced organization! Some of the responsibilities include:

  • Create marketing and social-media campaigns and strategies, including budget planning, content ideation, and implementation schedules along with the Senior growth marketer.

  • Ensure brand consistency in marketing and social media messages by working with the Senior Growth marketer and Managing director.

  • Collects user data and analyses interactions and visits, plus uses this information to create comprehensive overviews and improve future marketing strategies and campaigns.

  • Create clear overviews of the customer experience. Identifying all areas that need improving or changing.

  • Identify and implement new opportunities throughout the customer journey to deliver high performing content, interactions, and touchpoints.

  • Use research methods and data channels of customer experience to understand issues and implement change

  • Reports progress on a weekly basis to the Senior Growth marketer, Internal Recruitment and Management.

  • Grows and expands company social media presence and followers on all social media platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram

  • Research and monitor activity of company competitors and makes recommendations for new strategies.

  • Creates and distributes engaging written or graphic content in the form of e-newsletters, web page and blog content, or social media posts/messages.

  • Develop a delivery plan to enhance the company's reach and reputation

Requirements of the Social Media and Customer Experience Trainee

  • 6 months - 1 year of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role

  • You are a Social Media Strategist that knows how to use social media for brand awareness, conversions, and impressions

  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and other social media best practices

  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics

  • Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research

  • Good understanding of social media KPIs

  • Familiarity with landing page building and publishing

  • Excellent multitasking skills

  • Great interpersonal and communication skills

  • BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field

  • Graphic design skills and understanding of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Canva

  • Capable of creating email automations and NPS surveys.
