I am urgently looking for an experienced, hands-on Quality Control Vaccine Analyst to join a leading Biotech in Leiden to coordinate the post commercialization phase pf vaccine product.

Responsibilities

  • Receive requests linked to the test methods and their execution, the necessary materials (e.g. reference materials, critical reagents; cell banks, samples), consumables and laboratory technologies used in these methods., from the internal Supply Chain Quality organization (Analytical Capabilities Centre of Excellence Team representatives) who liaise directly with the local CMC RA, BQ, LOC representatives regarding local testing and other requirements necessary to implement the vaccine test methods into the different Official Medicinal Control Laboratories (OMCL)/National Control Laboratories (NCL) of the HA’s.
  • Performs shipment preparations, including requested materials (e.g. samples; reference materials e.d.) and all associated shipment documentation.
  • Responsible for storage and sufficient inventory of the lab consumables (inc. Critical reagents) and samples needed for testing purposes within the internal/external control laboratories and OMCL/NCL lab’s.
  • Troubleshooting related to storage of the materials, shipments, and logistics.
  • Identify potential risks and mitigation actions and communicate these in a timely manner.
  • Participates in meetings of the quality network organization and partners
  • Adhere to compliance best practices, EHSS regulations and lean principles.
     

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline with 2-4 years of related working experience
  • Experience with documentation coordination, and stakeholder management (shipping companies) inventory
  • Experience with setting up new processes and SOPs
  • Familiarity with lean principles
  • Fluent in English, Dutch is preferred

 

Start Date

  • 1 August 2021

Practicalities

  • 40-32 hours a week possible
  • 1 year contract ending on 31 July 2022
  • Extension highly likely
