THE ROLE

As Project Manager CMC, you will be responsible for the integrated project plans?in support of the CMC?development of our NK cell therapies. You will?work closely with Research?& Development?team members?to ensure cross functional alignment?on milestones, timelines,?resources, budgets and risks & mitigations.?You?will?facilitate problem solving for key issues and help the CMC?teams achieve their goals in?an effective and efficient manner. Day to day you will: 

  • Develop?and?maintain?the?project management?structure for CMC?matrix teams and projects. 

  • Set up?and populate?tracking tools, resource plans and as needed?timesheets?for CMC projects.  

  • Ensure team member accountability on providing timely and?good quality updates. 

  • Actively manage cross-functional alignment on project plans, including critical inputs from and implications for clinical development.?? 

  • Monitor milestones and deliverables and?escalate?key?issues?and risks?to CMC?Leaders?and/or VP CMC. 

  • Where needed, lead?or facilitate?problem resolution, risk identification and mitigation.?? 

  • Drive preparation of?CMC updates for management meetings, product development team meetings?and alliance meetings with pharma partners. 

  • Together with other PMO?members, capture and present ongoing feedback/metrics to improve the?project and portfolio management?at the company. Coach teams?and help establish improved competencies and discipline in the organization around portfolio and project management. 

  • Support with relevant management information such as tracking of timelines and milestones and flagging delays for tech transfer or clinical projects. 

 

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for someone with great influencing and communication skills. Someone with great planning and organizing abilities and a proactive approach. You are able to pull parties together, keep a clear eye on progress and eager to drive results. You also possess the following requirements: 

  • PhD in chemical engineering, bioprocess engineering or equivalent life sciences background. 

  • Project Manager qualifications, either in-company or formal certification. 

  • 4-7 years of experience as project manager in a complex and dynamic biotech (or biotech like) environment in technical projects. 

  • Experience in cell and gene therapy industries is ideal, but not required.  

  • Fluency in English, other languages are a plus. 

  • Travel up to 10% internationally
