For one of the biggest biotechnology companies worldwide we are looking for a Personeel- en Salarisadministratie expert. Your will be checking and processing data about salary payments, benefits, and personnel administration with the aim of making payments on time, keeping personnel files up to date and complying with the legal regulations of employment conditions agreements. The job comes with a one-year contract with extension (temp > perm.). The company is in Amsterdam.



·Ensure correct and timely implementation of all personnel salary changes in the AFAS salary system.

·Delivery of files and direct point of contact for the outsourced payroll processor.

·Ensure that changes are correctly processed in the personnel system.

·Processing and checking the pension administration.

·Informing and following up on questions from personnel such as first-line support, regarding employment conditions, company regulations and labour and social security law.

·Providing correct information to third parties such as health insurance, tax authorities, UWV, business associations, pension fund, CBS and occupational health and safety service regarding personnel and salary changes.

·Ensuring a correct administrative organization regarding payroll processing and (parts of) the personnel administration.

·Drawing up processes in AFAS, Visio or other tooling related to salary and personnel administration (employment, termination procedure, etc.) and come up with optimization and improvement proposals with the aim of guaranteeing efficient HR processes and procedures.

·Monitoring the reimbursement process with the insurance company regarding own risk status; Identifying developments in the field of social legislation which have consequences for salary and personnel administration.

·Analysing, interpreting and reporting HR related data with the aim of providing senior management and HR guiding information. As well as collecting and calculating the necessary data for making personnel cost comparisons and budget determination.

·Managing the personnel information system and direct point of contact for the provider.

·Performing various organizational and supporting HR tasks with the aim of making the HR processes run smoothly and efficiently.



  • A completed bachelor’s degree or equivalent work and thinking level
  • Good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing
  • Extensive relevant work experience (more than 5 years) in a similar position
  • Excellent knowledge of social legislation in this area
  • Socially skilled and customer-oriented
  • Accurate, proactive, with a hands-on and can-do mentality
  • Team player


Project start date:

Short notice preferred


Project duration:

1 year + extension possible.
