Our group is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic technician to contribute to the discovery and characterization of new single domain antibody (aka Nanobody®)-based biologicals with outstanding antiviral activity.


Join a team of 2 postdoctoral scientists to help discover new single domain antibodies with exquisite neutralizing activity against a human respiratory virus. Laboratory techniques that you will learn or already master and apply are dedicated to the identification, production, purification and antiviral testing of novel single domain antibodies directed the viral pathogen. 

You will also perform recombinant protein expression and purification experiments using yeast and mammalian cell culture systems for the production of these proteins. 

You are expected to be able to accurately perform experiments, independently with minimal supervision, and to report and discuss research results with the other team members. You also take initiative to ensure that the lab remains well organized (prepare stock reagents, ensure proper use of routine lab equipment …)


  • You have a professional bachelor or professional master degree in Biomedical, Biotechnology or Biological Sciences or equivalent

  • You have hands-on experience with standard molecular biology techniques

  • Experience with one or more of the following techniques: molecular cloning, recombinant protein expression in yeast or other eukaryotic cell systems, protein purification, phage or yeast display

  • You have a hands-on attitude, an eye for detail and can perform experiments independently

  • You have good communication skills in spoken and written English (proven knowledge of English is required, TOEFL test)

  • Efficient with Word, Excel, Graphpad Prism for reporting results

  • You are eager to learn new techniques and take initiative
