They are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a business development manager for their  lung (respiratory) solutions, focused on developing the business with Medtech and AI platform companies.


As business development manager you are responsible for

  • securing new clients, coordinate the development of strong relationships, nurturing unique partnerships, and delivering on annual new business and revenue plans.
  • You will work collaboratively with colleagues and management to effectively develop and execute strategic plans, resulting in both new business and incremental business with existing customers.
  • In this role you will (not an exhaustive list)
  •  Be responsible for business development efforts for the company lung (respiratory) solutions in Medtech and AI platform customers.
  • Coordinate, build and nurture key customer relationships
  • Pro-actively organize sales activities to secure new clients and opportunities
  • Coordinate/drive activities with partners and provide support to maximize sales
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals
  • Provide customer feedback and work together with the R&D and operations teams at the company to translate (future) customer needs into the company products, services, and solutions




  • Academic degree (MSc or PhD) in (bio)medical or related fields
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in international business development or sales
  • Experience in medical imaging, preferably in CT imaging for lung diseases
  • Experience with digital health solutions and platforms, such as PACS and EHR solutions
  • Candidates with key connections in the Medtech or digital health solutions industry are preferred
  • Commercially driven, customer oriented, creative, and innovative
  • Excellent organizational skills (in- and externally)
  • The ability to work in a collaborative environment and eager to learn about our products and software
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Proven track record in consultative selling and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel (subject to Covid19 regulations) and occasionally work outside normal business hours for international meetings


  • We are looking for someone either be living in the Netherlands or willing to move to the Netherlands 32-40 hours – hybrid working is allowed 25 vacation days based on a 40 hours contract and 8% holiday allowance
