Recruitment Business Development Lead | Germany
Panda International is looking for a highly capable and credible Business Development Lead to be at the forefront of our new and exciting venture of entering Germany, forecasted to be the largest part of our European business. On the foundation of a solid client base built by the business development team, Panda intends to grow its operational arm in Germany. The strategy for market entry is to start with building a team of business developers locally who will be assisted by our European delivery centre.

Panda International is primarily operating in the Life Sciences sector with the greater ambition to take on a substantial proportion of the European market, as well as set up additional brands in parallel sectors. Over the past few years, Panda International has experienced exponential growth and achieved phenomenal year-on-year growth in profit in 2021, following impressive growth the previous year. Last year we put the foundations in place to support our growth ambitions, with the establishment of our Swiss and German entities. Main responsibilities of the Business Development Lead
The main part of the role is to map out potential ideal clients, new business acquisition, liaise with Panda International delivery team to ensure client requirements are met, and develop and build on client relationships. In addition to this, liaise with the marketing team to ensure campaigns relevant to the DACH region are effective in their engagement with the target market.
The main objective is to build and develop the Panda International footprint in the DACH, by wining new exclusive business relationships of which our sourcing and recruiting teams can manage and deliver talent to meet the client's needs.
Book and attend meetings with prospective clients (onsite and remotely) to pitch the Panda International proposition.
Continuously map the market within the target hubs to identify prospective clients best fitted to the Panda International ‘ideal client blueprint.’
You will work closely with the Panda International Marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns for winning new business (including but not limited to brand image, content campaigns and events).
Contribute to building and evolving our marketing assets as the business evolves to ensure the Panda International proposition is clear, and to promote the credibility of the brand.
Managing accounts by liaising with the recruitment teams to ensure the deliverables are met.
Seek and develop client development opportunities within existing clients where we can raise Panda International’s profile locally and grasp opportunities to expand internationally via those existing partnerships.
Manage the deliverables and ensure they are met through every point of contact in the Panda business to maximise a positive customer journey.

Main requirements for the Business Development Lead
At least 5 years’ experience working in commercial recruitment as a recruiter or business developer, along with a proven track-record in achieving personal and/or company goals. Preferably with Life Sciences experience.
Great communicator and networker.
The ability to work independently while being accountable for results.
Good understanding of how to develop business leads from marketing activities such as content campaigns or and events.
